Guest guest
I am looking for a natural safe, effective method of getting rid of this horrible constipation I have. Kind of embarassing but I think, or have been told it is from the Vicodin. They apparently slow down the gut. I am dying here..ANy ideas? Guest guest
, Cleaning out your colon is one THE most important things you can do to keep your body in a healing mode. You can't let that stuff sit up there and putrefy. I don't mean to sound gross, but that is what goes on, and the best way to deal with this is to give yourself an enema. I have mentioned this before, and I am serious about doing it. You can try natural laxatives, such as psyllium seeds, apple pectin, flax seeds, and cascara sagrada. You can get all of these at the health food store. Eat only fruits and veggies, no breads, meats, or fiberless junk food. But still, the best way to get yourself moving things on out is to just bite the bullet and do the enemas, daily if you must. You can get a cheap enema bag at WalMart for $13. Just use a quart of clean (not tap) water at a time. My hubby does these daily (and my hubby is a lean, handsome, cool guy--and he got over the stigma about doing them quite fast). He feels great now. Write if you have any more questions. Guest guest
I have done enemas actually and they do help, but I just bought the ready to go ones and I don't feel they are cutting it, so I will try to get one of these things from walmart. I eat really healthy so it has to be the meds that messed me up. I never have had this problem in my life but once when I was pregnant.
