Guest guest
Dear Dr. Fojgel: I just wanted to tell you who much I appreciate the many technical and emotional support you have provided on this web site as well as the previous HBOT site that mysteriously disappeared. Incidentally, my husband is from San , Argentina, and many years ago when our children were still very young, we almost considered to go to Argentina for medical help for our oldest son with autism. Well, we did not manage to do so, but the reasoning was that the medical contributions towards ameliorating our son's predicament was minus 100º . We humans have a long way to go to awaken to who we really are, and what God wants for us and from us. In any even, no matter how many earthly titles have been bestowed upon any one person, if he/she is weak in character and ethics, such titles have no values. Hope you are surviving the horrific current economic crisis in Argentina; the news from family is not too good. Sincerely, Marie Perelló (Armarie@...) Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Perelló, Sorry for the late response to your kind message. Incidentally, I was wondering were you had acquired your Catalonian last name... Argentina is still in turmoil, as of today, as nobody seems to know how to deal with the terrible economic and financial situation the successive administrations of the last 25 years have left us in. Too many citizens have been swindled by the banks and the government, too many workless people, and the collective outcry has been deafening. Banks have armoured their premises, had to replace many electronic cashiers, more than once destroyed by angered customers or protesters. The Supreme Court has ruled yesterday that the " barrier " around private funds is unconstitutional and illegal, so the whole banking system is about to collapse. Things will evolve rapidly in the next few days, hopefully without further blood or damages. Regarding autism, I should remind you that there are some interesting and inexpensive remedies here in Argentina ,that are not available in the US. Now they are even more inexpensive, by a half, due to the current devaluation of the peso. Medical contributions usually traverse narrow and propositively complicated ways, sometimes just dead alleys. But some complementary, alternative, or traditional medicines, even the creative use of orthodox therapies (like HBO) might bring evoltive results in seemingly " hopeless " cases. Best regards. Guest guest
Please outline for me the inexpensive items you've mentioned for autism. I am very much involved with getting things like this evaluated by the National Institutes of Health for general adoption here in this country. Guest guest
Dear Dr.Duncan, These remedies are made in Argentina since long, by at least three laboratories. They are variously called lysates, peptones, hydrolysates, disalbuminated tissue extracts, proteolysates, oligopeptides, and so on. Lysates are natural preparations made from single animal or vegetable tissues, that are controlledly deconstructed by enzymatic hydrolysation, to a point as to still show a specific biological activity, and oral tolerance (that inhibits the biological aggression of many autoimmune processes and conditions). Different combinations of lysates are used in specific conditions, or as systemic biological optimizers. A new theory of the intestinal origin of some forms of autism gives these lysates a greater relevance, as they share the same gate of entrance, may act on the affected lymphatic structures of the intestine, etc. Classified as " nutritional supplements " , and " peptones " in the Argentine National Pharmacopeia, these oral remedies have been invented, made and used here since the turn of the century. One hundred years of clinical experience should be of use... But frankly, I doubt that old, natural substances like these, that to boot cannot be patented, will be seriously considered at the NIH. First, the underlying paradigm and its biology must be understood and accepted. Synergy with other biological therapies has been demostrated. As you can guess, the manufacturing process is not at all complicated. I believe that some higly purified, injectable variant of these is currently being manufactured in the US. Whatever other information or contacts you may need, do not hesitate in asking. Best regards. Guest guest
Anne: Would you pass this along to the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine? Considering the need to find things that help autism, this may be of assistance. Guest guest
Let's be fair to Freddy. I have no idea who, but considering the number of emails I get from both of the HBOT groups I belong to each day, I can see why almost anyone could be overwhelmed. I'm used to deleting 300 - 500 emails each day, but people who aren't on the backbone like I am would get very annoyed by waiting forever to download messages they do not want to get. Just nicely remove this person manually. They've already followed the unsubscribe directions without success.
