Guest guest
Hi all, I just finished fighting off bronchitis and then a stomach virus. Thank Gd I'm better now! The cold weather hasn't been so nice to me, but I always remind myself to compare how I feel now to how I felt a year and a half ago (pre-Enbrel), and I really have no complaints! I can live with morning stiffness and periodic discomfort! Anyway, interestingly enough my rash has decided to make an appearance lately. I've always had it off and on (since I was 6, and I'm 19 now!). But really now I have it every day. It itches some, but otherwise it really doesn't bother me. I get it mostly on my thighs. I just wanted to mention this because I know a lot of people were wondering how long their children would have this rash...so I'm here to tell you that it is possible to keep it forever :-). Of course it is not nearly as bad as it has been during flares...I just get splotchy, itchy thighs. Mostly it's just a bit embarrassing during swimming class :-). I still get random fevers every few months or so, which I attribute to good ole arthur. I hope everybody is having a nice holiday season and trying to stay healthy with everything going around. I'm studying for exams, which start Wednesday...wish me luck! Be well, Elisheva (19, sys. JRA since 6; college in NYC....I love to get email! elishevachaya@...)
