Guest guest
That's Awesome!! Good news Val!! Congratulations!! Dayna Drennan Robbie's labwork I guess someone must have known that I was due for some cheering up! Rob had his monthly labs yesterday & I just found out that his ESR is 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would have thought!! His white count was only slightly elevated & everything else was almost normal - so I will have a better weekend now. Thanks! Guest guest
Georgina - What is a normal SED rate? I always forget to ask our doc and just had labwork done on Friday so I am curious to know ahead of time, before we see the doc and he gives us the results. Thanks! The first time Holly's labs were good, i called my mother, and i was of course crying (good tears) and i said hollys sed rate is "3", and she said hang on i will be right there, scared to death, because i was crying and she didnt have a clue that 3 was good, she assumed the worst, i had to call her back, and told the receptionist, catch my mother dont let her leave!!!!!! I said relax mom, its a good thing!!!!!!!!
Guest guest
Hi Val, Wow! That really is terrific news : ) I hope Robbie continues to do well. It took years of very aggressive treatment before had a SED rate any where near within the normal range. The first time we got back those results, I really believed there had been a lab error. Hope you guys had a great weekend, Aloha, Georgina I guess someone must have known that I was due for some cheering up! Guest guest
Thanks Georgina, We did have a nice weekend. Robbbie's Dad flew in for a visit, arriving Saturday. He is staying in our guest room to make the trip financially possible for him. It is only the second time in Robbie's memory that he has seen him. Robbie is having the time of his life - I just hope I have prepared him for his Dad leaving enough so that it isn't too hard. Things are going well - but I am ready for him to leave - it is really strange to be walking around the kitchen with your ex-husband - even if he is helping cook dinner. Him falling asleep in the recliner was just a little too deja-vu for me! Life can sure be strange. Guest guest
Hi AJ, I can only imagine the relief Grandma must have felt when she got your message! Isn't it wonderful when we can cry good tears, instead of sad ones : ) Take Care, Georgina The first time we got back those results, I really believed there had been a lab error.
