Hi Everyone,

We've got a lot of young girls represented in this group. As such, there

are sure to be some Powerpuff Girls fans out there :) Here's the latest

news about their recently released cartoon DVD, " Meet The Beat Alls. "

Aloha,

Georgina

Popular cartoon DVD has virus ‘The Powerpuff Girls’ disc comes down with

‘FunLove’

Oct. 31 — The latest DVD featuring cartoon sensation “The Powerpuff

Girls” may boast fun games for young PC users, but three computer

programs on the disc have also been infected by the “FunLove” virus,

CNET News.com has learned.

WARNER BROS. CONFIRMED Wednesday that the “Meet the Beat Alls” disc,

released a week ago by Warner Home Video, has been recalled because the

DVD spreads the “FunLove” computer virus to any PC that installs the

supplemental software.

Hi Robbin,

They're cartoon characters from a television series. Little girls who

are also ... super heroes :)

It sounds like you've been really busy at home, Robbin. I missed your

posts there, for a while. I'm glad you're back in touch :) And I'm glad

that everything is working out okay for Robbin, too.

You know, when I was reading your post from yesterday with those recipes

you shared, my mouth was watering. I guess it's true what they say ...

's is mmm mmmm good :)

Have a great day,

Georgina

Robbin,

I think it's time for lunch :) The only thing I'd change about this

recipe is to substitute ground turkey or chicken, as we don't eat beef.

You're right, though. Kids will be like that, sometimes. Yesterday I was

offering my friend's daughter a piece of fish. her mom said, oh. You

mean chicken, right? Turns out she won't eat fish of any kind, no matter

what, as she hates fish. But she'll eat it up if you tell her it's

chicken :)

Take care,

Georgina

Hey Robbin

You're not old-- Your kids are! I know I have a few years on you, but my

kids range from 21 down to 6 yrs of age. Powerpuff Girls are kindergarten

girls that are out to save the world. Silly, but all the little girls love

them! My kindergarten students-- the girls, that is-- always pretend to be

Powerpuff Girls!

Georgina,

I had to laugh at the chicken vs fish comment - which was needed after hearing

how some of our kids are doing - Rob used to eat anything if I called it

chicken. My friend's little girl wouldn't eat anything with " salad " on it (ie:

pizza with veggies, lettuce on a sandwhich, veggies mixed in anything) It

cracks me up. Now when I fix Rob a sandwhich he will tell me, " don't put salad

on it like you do yours. " The laughs we have together are worth more than I can

begin to measure. Have a great weekend (Rob was Batman, and really enjoyed

" trick or treating " we went around our little cul de sac & then he got to go to

his favorite place to eat (Friendly's) where he proceeded to share his candy

with everyone working. What a kid - it was totally his idea! He had some foot

pain (don't know if it was the arthritis - or new shoes - he had to have black

shoes to wear with his costume because Batman doesn't wear white sneakers.) but

did really well and had a blast!

Have a great weekend all!

Rob likes them too - (I think buttercup is his favorite) I was surprised that he

even knew who they were - because he doesn't see the show at home - they must

talk about it at pre-school.

Dear Liz,

Read your post and made me laugh! I also have kids (3 girls) 21, 15,

(Kate) 7 and 1 1/2 yr. old grandaughter. I know every Powerpuff plus

every character--real or cartoon-- ever to come out on Nickelodeon! All

Disney movies I can repeat line for line! lol! Guess it helps to keep

us young! lol!

(Kate 7--severe poly, avascular necrosis of both hips)
