Guest guest
, On the news yesterday they showed a station in Arkansas giving refunds to those who had been overcharged Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday. Station owners were saying that suppliers had indicated there would be a shortage. Here in DC the prices have remained the same, and we're being told it should remain that way. I hope your friend learns the same for other areas of the country. Liz Gas Prices? > Hey everyone, I need information on gas prices. Guest guest
, My uncle in Little Rock, AR said gougers are charging $4 per gallon. He actually had to pay it on Tuesday just to get gas. Angie, Nacogdoches, TX
Guest guest
Just my 2 cents: Gas prices here in Indianapolis jumped to $4-5 per gallon at some stations. Our governor came on and said it's a violation of Federal law to do this and those stations caught would face stiff penalties. After that, news crews and spotters going out prices came down to $1.53-1.79. I can't believe how greedy some people can get in times of tragedy. Guest guest
Yes , it is terrible, a severe human or inhuman weakness, I remember stories told to me about the depression how those who had horded and those who had little were usually the ones giving to ones without! A time of strife should be used to strengthen our society, rather than trying to profit from other peoples hardships. I have a believe, that world peace will only come to us when everyone in the entire wold, can come to except that we are a world of one people with many beliefs and faiths and not a world of many different RACES, we are one race and that is the HUMAN RACE! As is this great country of ours and all others, a blending of many wonderful cultures all belnded together! Hugs of Friendship to all in the World, and may God forgive those who did this, but let us never foreget! Guest guest
Wow, $1.18, that was a long time ago around here. We are at $1.93 and we think that it good!!!! Pat
Guest guest
Man, I guess we pay a lot around here (Illinois). We are hovering at $2.00, a little less sometimes, then it goes up and then down. Our governor put out a warning and an 800 # to call if people started doing it.
