I hope Josh feels better and I hope yall don't get that fever. Yall are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and good luck karen(tabitha 16..poly) From: Georgina <gmckin@...> Reply- Subject: OT Re: ozone/oxidative therapy Date: Tue, 02 Oct 2001 16:43:52 -1000 Hi, I was sleeping soundly, having a great dream, suddenly interrupted by the ringing of the phone. Down I went, unfortunately, a little too slowly to catch it before the machine picked up. On my way back up the ringing started again. You'd be surprised how many people on the East Coast forget all about the six hour time difference we have. As a result of the World Trade Center incident, in the past weeks I've learned of the deaths of six people that I grew up with. Three of them were firefighters. I was almost dreading another early morning call. But then I couldn't go back to sleep, so I went online. That's when I saw that Duncan had stopped by to say hello. And to share information about, of all things, ozone therapy! So maybe I acted rashly but ... my son is sick, we're worried about possibly contracting the Dengue Fever that's becoming epidemic in Maui, and I've got a bunch of other stuff on my mind. As much as I dislike any form of censorship, I thought moderated posts might be the best way to handle our present and future marketers. Guest guest
Georgina, It sounds like a good plan to me. I am sorry to hear about the deaths of people who were a part of your life. What a sad time for our country. Guest guest
Thoughout my whole life I've had family and friends push me to try this remedy it works so well for auntie or wear this it cured me or well the stories go on and on ... Today I haven't the time , the patience or the sanity to deal with Duncan and his "type" ! If he or his child was suffering he would be in a different line of business ...or maybe not ! I agree that everyone has a right to free enterprize, even free speech, but I reserve my right to have a place that is about support and caring and just plain honesty. Thank you Georgina for allowing this corner of our world to be just for US! :):)Tree:):) Re: OT Re: ozone/oxidative therapy Georgina,It sounds like a good plan to me. Guest guest
The only benefit to those old remedies, is the laugh you get from the mere suggestion of their use! My particular favorite is the,,,,,,,Potato in the Pocket!!!! And of course copper bracelets were all the rage too! But as annoying as they were! they did mean well I mean come on, if it cured over night, there would be no need for doctors! now would there? Hey wait a minute, give me ten potato' and twenty copper bracelets!!!! GOD Bless and Good Night. Starchie and tarnished! Guest guest
Thank you, Val. I grew up in a small town and we all went to school together. Though I hadn't seen them in quite a few years, the memories are still there. Good people. It's shocking to think that they all lost their lives on the same day, as a result of this very tragic event. Aloha, Georgina carneyval@... wrote: > > Georgina, > > It sounds like a good plan to me. Guest guest
You're very welcome, Tree. And thank you, sincerely, for all that you do. I'm thinking that when time permits maybe I'll have to make some changes in our group's description. Maybe I should add that if someone has a product(s) to sell they should tell the folks at alt.support.arthritis .... which you can easily find through http://groups.google.com/ Those 'Alt' usenet groups generally accept all sorts of postings, I think even the commercial ones which are frowned upon here. They've also got a much larger group of people ~ with all types of arthritis ~ who are very open to hearing honest, helpful information. Take care, and again ... Thanks! Guest guest
Hi , I know I've said it before but reading your messages here has brought me so many smiles. Thank you, for your kind words and just for being yourself and sharing some of that wonderful spirit of yours with all of us. Sometimes when you don't get a chance to post I still think about you. I know you're busy these days, with all that you've got going on but remember, even when you're not in a great mood and maybe the arthritis (or something else) has got you feeling a little down and you're not in the mood to be cheery or humorous ... we're still here for you too, to hopefully share a little support and understanding. Just like you do when we need a lift. Okay? Aloha, Georgina PS ... I never heard the one about the potatos in the pockets?!?
Guest guest
Georgina, I grew up in a small town too. One person contacted me through the Internet back in May & I haven't seen her for 26 years - but she was one of the first people who knowing I work in DC, but unsure how far I was from the Pentagon - who contacted me to make sure I was ok. Some of those early connections stay strong even when time and distance separate. My prayers go out to the community you are from who are dealing with such a great loss. Hugs Val
