Guest guest
Georgina, Keep it coming! I have a separate folder for reports that pertain to Skylers condition and I just checked - it is up to 300 messages. Most of which have come through this site in the last year and a half. I have also started printing out a pile of them to take before lawyers if needed. In short, you are giving us very helpful information, even if it is painful to get through it all. [ & Skyler] OT: Filling Up Your Mailbox Hi Everyone, I want to say, first off, that I am very sorry about the flood of mail that I sent in today. I went to visit the medline site yesterday and found LOTS of JRA related news and studies that hadn't been posted to the group previously, so I spent two hours this morning re-formatting the articles for email. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get online again. The school strike is in it's 20th or 21st day. And right now, the children are preparing for a swimming expedition. They've got the car packed up and only need me So ... I thought, while I have the chance, I better send them all in. And it was only then, as I go to turn off the computer, that I realized just how many emails I had sent. Probably should have sent just half today and the others the next time but, there you have it. LOTS of reading materials for whenever you have a chance to read. I'll add some comments to some specific reports the next time I get on. Hopefully you guys will, too Much Aloha, Georgina

Guest guest
Georgina-- Just heard the teacher's strike is over, good news. Thanks for all your hard work in getting us valuable information. It takes some time to read through all the material, but definitely time well spent. christine

Guest guest
Hi, Yes! The Hawaii Teacher's Strike has finally ended. The children all went back to school this morning and, suddenly, it has become so exceptionally quiet around here. I love it I fed the wildbirds this morning and spent a few extra moments enjoying listening to their songs as i sipped my iced coffee. I pruned my pink plumeria and planted two new ones out back. And I stood and gazed, in awe, at the bunches of baby bananas forming once again on my trees. Being a native New Yorker, I never, ever expected that I'd be growing my own bananas Though neither Josh or Kayla ever complained, even once, about being bored ... I knew they missed attending classes. They were both up early and ready for school before 7am, so I dropped them off a little earlier than usual so they'd have time to catch up with their clasmates this morning. Josh does get his injection of MTX today, so even though they have lots of work to catch up with I hope he doesn't get way too much homework. He'll probably want to nap when we get home. We'll see how it goes. Aloha, Georgina chrisujohnson@... wrote: > > Georgina-- > Just heard the teacher's strike is over, good news. Guest guest
Georgina, I grew up in Hawaii. On Oahu. Rarely do I miss being there. You email describing the plumeria and banana trees really made me miss it..... Are the sunsets still amazing? Right now spending the day on the beach with Alyssa and her brothers sounds really great. Enjoy... Amy Re: OT: Filling Up Your Mailbox > Hi, > > Yes! The Hawaii Teacher's Strike has finally ended. Guest guest
Hi Amy, I'm glad my email brought back some pleasant memories It is a very beautiful state. A great place to grow up. And yes, the sunsets are still gorgeous. It's been very windy here today, a bit too windy to enjoy sitting on the sandy beaches but I think I'll bring the children to the pool after schools out, though.
