Hi,

Just found your site. Think it's great idea. I have a 6 yr. old daughter

diagnosed a little over three years ago with severe polyarticular jra. Started

out with naproxen but pulled after scarring and bruising of skin. Was put on

high dose ibuprofen, then methotrexate added. Was pulled off methotrexate after

8 weeks due to extremely high liver counts. (was in total remission while on it)

was then put on Enbrel injections. While is fairly under control still has bad

flairups. Had to then have colonoscopy etc.. done due to blood in stools. Said

was fissures in colon. Has been through 3 years of weekly ot and pt therapies,

leg casts, and hand splints. Recently found out has necrosis of both hips, which

dr. said had nothing to do with arthritis but was usually seen in " normal " kids?

Had 30 x-rays done of every bone and joint from head to toe. Info I could find

on necrosis problem indicates possible hip procedures in near future. Wanting

any more info if possible. To make things even more complicated my 14 year old

daughter was just diagnosed with reynauds. Possible other things but at this

pont dr. still trying to figure out. We live in Indianapolis Indiana and are

fortunate to have access to Riley's Children's Hospital. It's a fantastic place!

If anyone out there has any info or advice on anything I have written please let

me know. Am especially interested in info on Necrosis of hips and reynauds.

Thanks,
