Guest guest
After reached Sub acute liver failure on July 4th week end this summer due to Indocin we started Milk Thistle three times a day. With the doctors approval. she gets 8 drops (she is 4 yrs old) in 1/4inch of juice or water, three times daily. This stimulates her liver to function well and cleans it up as it is processing all theses meds. She is now in the 30% of kids who do not need a transplant. All her liver values are normal. Could it be the milk Thistle? we shall never know but it certainly is not doing any harm and we shall continue as long as she is on medications. I even take it now and again! Guest guest
Hi , Isn't it amazing, how far has come in just a few months? We were all so worried about her just a couple of months ago and lately, all the news has been pretty good! I'm so glad she's improving. I guess it's hard to know for sure how much the milk thistle is benefitting her condition but as long as it's not hurting, I'd certainly be inclined to continue using it! It's wonderful to hear that her liver values are normal again! :-) Take care, Georgina Skis@... wrote: > After reached Sub acute liver failure on July 4th week end this summer > due to Indocin we started Milk Thistle three times a day.
