Guest guest
Hey there Christy, so glad that we could be of help. Thats what we are here for. I know I'm really thankful I found this group and altho sometimes the info has scared me, it has also helped me to accept that the implants are the problem....not me. What a relief that is to know. I had mine put in thru the aerola so I have just a 1 inch barely noticeable scar and he will remove them the same way. I have heard of going in thru the bellybutton but not for along time. How was recovery with this type of procedure? When is your surgery date? Take care kiddo and glad to have you around. I just wanted to say thank you for responding to my question about what to expect after the explant in terms of appearance. Your helpful information has made me feel SO much more at ease about the operation. It has really given me the support and confidence I needed to go ahead with it. I will be having the explant within the next month. I will let you know how it went...especially for Jackie whom has yet to have the surgery. Just a little side info: I'm not worried about scars because I had them placed through my bellybutton. You can't even see the scars right now. I can have them removed that way as well (but I know they must be deflated through tubes before they are pulled out...should I be concerned about that? I am assuming they probably have to be deflated when removed in other places as well (armpit, etc).
Guest guest
kelly They havent really given us an estimate of how long she will be in her 2nd band. I just assume it will be another 4 1/2 months. I would hope it would be less and shed be finished sooner but I am prepared for another 4 1/2 months. I know it is great kissing their soft little heads. I am loving it soooo much! I love when she gives me a big hug and she lays her soft little head on my shoulder. I dont remember feeling how soft and wonderful that felt with my other two. Of course I loved their hugs and they were wonderful too. But its so different to hug a banded baby and then hug your baby bandless. It makes you cherish and appreciate those moments so much more I think. Good luck and keep me posted!! christi > > Thanks for understanding . How long will Mya be in her 2nd band? Have they given you an estimate. Way to go...sticking with it . Isn't it great to kiss their soft little heads? Can't wait till we can both do it daily . > > > > , Mom to Grant (born 9/26/01) ...in DOCband since 6/14/02 > > > --------------------------------- >
