The easiest way to get rid of that is to get a Spam Killer program. I love AOL. All you have to do is type the address in and they don't come back. It's great. Guest guest
There are so many different emails with those darn spams coming in on that addy! My email server has spam stuff but what I did is I just don't take any email on it for a few weeks, then I'll turn it back on and see how bad it is. LITERALLY, I was getting dozens of Viagra, Cialis, crapola emails and still had a bunch of stuff caught by their spam filters. Somehow someway I had gotten on some lists and bammo, I got inundated. I would report the spam, block the addy and still, others. So this is my other email addy. I don't want to give up the alleypat one forever, but if I have to, I will. When they cure Hep C with one pill, they can spam me with that all they want! Alley unviagrable

I don't want to give up the alleypat one forever, but if I have to, I will. Tell me about it! At least you got viagra-ed instead of porn-ed. I have hit the report spam so fast on the e-mail list that I've " spammed " a few that I shouldn't have. But, there is a way to lower the level of junk. The spam killer is one and a fire wall is another. Just deleting does not send the message. I e-mailed a few of them back with a piece of my mind. That slowed a lot down. I still have my address and while I get junk, I no longer get porn. I don't know what kind of block you can put on your computer, but with AOL and some others, you can literally write in key words to automatically block some mail. You might consider blocking the word Viagra, if that's available to you. Before I figured all of this out, I just stopped reading my e-mail for a couple of months. We were moving anyway, so I just quit turning it on. Once I knew where the pots and pans and the bathroom were I went back to figuring out how to stop it. It's irritating, but not impossible to fix. Guest guest
Oh I got porn too, which really bothers me cuz my grandkids get on my computer. I have no interest in porn whatsoever. My husband and I do our own porn, thank you very much. I can't not get email for a long period of time " somewhere " because I am the Secretary of my writing group, the newsletter editor, and the main contact as well as the main contact of another writing group. I've learned that if you put your email on the web, to spell it out so that spam bots can't get it. Like myemail at something.com And that helps me cuz I put my email on our writers website. My husband and I don't have any interest in it either. We finally banned enough addresses that we don't get bothered with that sort of thing as much any more.
