Addition to earlier post re: liver disease and joint pain

Sorry friends....I should have elaborated more in my earlier posting.

I have been experiencing joint pain in my elbows, feet, knees, upper

and lower leg areas but specifically in my right hip area. When I sit

down for even a short amount of time and get up, that's when it is

extremely painful for me. I'm so stiff and sore that when I walk,

it's now with a limp. When in bed, I can't lie on my right side as it

is too painful on my hip joint. I guess I feel so frustrated with my

doctor because in his opinion, there shouldn't be too many symptoms

with PBC other than itching, so of course everytime I share with him a

symptom or ailment, he feels it has nothing to do with my liver

disease. Do any of you experience joint problems and does your doctor

think this is associated with liver disease? Thank you.
