Guest guest
My doctors have told me that Tylenol is the safest thing to use. However, one should limit the amount. We should ask our doctors how much is safe. Palmer's book discusses this. Harper In a message dated 12/30/2004 12:56:21 PM Pacific Standard Time, writes: If U have been advised not to use Tylenol, what would U be able to take for a fever or headache? The only time Kels does need pain releif is for headaches and fever(has only had 3 in her entire life).Trish

He insists my problem is "fatty liver cirrhosis", but of course cannot tell me why I have such a disease, since I have never drank alcohol of any sort. Clara, ask your GI give you a more precise term. Do you have "fatty liver" (Hepatic Statosis) or NASH (Non-Alcoholic SteatoHepatitis) or NAFLD (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease)? Each of these has slightly different implications. However, to quote Dr. Palmer's book, "Guide to Liver Disease", ". . . If you have either a fatty liver or NASH, by definition you have NAFLD." None of these three conditions is a result of drinking alcohol. And, of course, the term cirrhosis just means "scarring of the liver." Again quoting Palmer, "Medical authorities currently believe that most cases of NAFLD are caused by a condition known as insulin resistance." Palmer says that people with type 2 diabetes, obese people, people with a poor diet, hypertriglyceridemia, or a sedentary lifestyle are at a higher risk for developing NAFLD. Guest guest
Unjury makes an unflavored protein powder that you can mix into many things. They don't recommend mixing it with unflavored water, but it can mix with anything else. Good luck on your new journey. Tasteless protein ideas-Help Posted by: " sue.logg " sue.logg@... sue.logg Sat Mar 26, 2011 12:27 pm (PDT) Hi y'all, I am wondering if you have any ideas on tasteless protein I can mix with food. Dr. Aceves office mentioned this but am having a hard time finding it with so many products out there! Am I searching incorrectly? I am scheduled for surgery and want to have options without any taste, I get bored with sweet tastes very fast. Thanks a bunch! And in the first month you have liquids for the first 20 days. I would suggest that you use a liquids that is drinkable. The first 10 days is the hardest one because you are unable to get a lot in because you just had surgery. Do the best you can--it is difficult to try to get in enough water and drink the 1st 10 days. I used some products from _www.unjury. com_ (http://www.unjury. com) they were ok, but not my favorite. I used the Chicken broth. Just buy some sample packets that is the best way to do it. The next 10 days was the better. I could have creamy and so I use a product that I purchase at Costco. It is Premier Protein Drink. I love it. Give it a try, if you feel it is too thick put a few ice cubes in a blender and pour the drink in blend it with the ice cubes, it isn't so think and cream if you do that. Has anything changed in your way of eating? or exercise habits? Just an idea on what I would look for . If you figure it out please tell us, just in case it happens to anyone in the future.
