Guest guest
-the symptoms that you're describing can be treated with medication; being unable to sleep can be treated with Ambien. You may be still be fatigued during the day just due to the disease. But it's worse to feel like that all day & then be unable to sleep. Some doctors may give antidpressants, too. You didn't say what type of cirrhosis your father has. So, now your oldest son has it, which type is that? You sounded so upset & frightened. I don't want you to worry about everyone getting this disease. My mother has PBC & had a transplant 10 yrs.ago. I was diagnosed with the same about that time. I am 1 of 6 kids and no one else has it. Debby- I hope that this puts your mind at ease, too.
