Hi Lyn

Nice to have you aboard. I'm and I live just east of Utica. I'm an M & P

crafter myself.

Too chicken to try the other yet. But I really enjoy what I'm doing and am the

only one

in my area that seems to be selling it, so hopefully as soon as I get off my big

butt and get

to more stores, maybe I'll do well with it. Right now my stuff is in (3) shops.

One is a

ladies' clothing store and the other two are hair salons. So far, so good. I

have a lot of

money invested though, because I can't seem to stop shopping for all the neat

things I

keep finding on the net. Especially the greaat molds!!

How much snow is out there, guys? I'm sticking to my word....still hybernating

in the

family room downstairs!! (hehe)

Whoa, Lyn. That's a huge order. How long would you say that

it would take you to make 1000 of them? I can't even start to

imagine!!

M

hello there

hello everyone. how is everyones week going?? no one has posted in a few days so we all must be busy.i have a little good news to share.....the tattoo shop that we sell our soaps at asked us to make a tattoo balm that has good stuff for taking care of new tattoos. so we played around with different recipies for a few monthes and finally came up with one that we liked. we made a dozen 2 oz. tins and took them to the tattoo dude. he loves them!!! he bought those dozen.....ordered 100 more ASAP and......put in a future order of 1000 tins for the end of feb.!!!!! he is going to a bikers/tattoo convention in daytona and wants to take them! WOW, we are just in shock from this. so now we are waiting on our order of tins so we can get busy with that order.plus we really got to get busy on making our regular stock of soap. our inventory is almost gone and we need some curing time before the maple festival. we don't know if we have gotten approved yet but we are still crossing our fingers.gotta go to work now.have a bubbly day everyone!!!lynOur Message Boardhttp://www.voy.com/21568/Check out these great Molds!!http://soapwerks.com/martinworld.htmMember Kae's Site... I just tried it and it took a long time to load, but it did finally come up. The screen starts out

black and then the rest of the page loads. Then just scroll down to where it says "stare at this picture." It will take about a minute, but it works.

Hi Lyn,

You will never be alone with this group. Someone is always around to hear

you. I'm sorry to hear about your marital problems. I have a family but many

times I feel alone too. My husband doesn't experience what I do throughout

the day with Zeb. It just isn't the same relationship. At times when I think

life can't be worse I meet someone else with twice the problems and realize

how lucky I am. I hope things will begin to turn around for you.

Hi Lyn,

I 'm glad your dh gave you some time. I honestly don't think you can force

someone to stay married if they don't want to. I hope your husband will have

a change of heart for your sake but if not be prepared. I would still check

out legal aid etc just in case. Good luck and keep us posted.

Lyn,

Please know that you are in our prayers . I am so sad to hear that you

have been left so all alone. I know that others on this list have walked

your walk, and it is not one that anyone would wish for.

Where do you live? I have forgotten. Did you move your family far away

from good supports to be close to his relatives? (Florida?) Is there a

church that you have been attending that can at least have someone help in

some way? What about a local Down syndrome group or local autism group? I

know the whole problem with looking for help for your family is that you

need to take your eyes off of the kids long enough to do something. You

took the right step by asking for help here. Now, can you figure out how

to get some helping hands with your kids so that you can take care of daily

business as well as take care of yourself?

Please keep writing in. You will be taking baby steps to do this. You

*can* do this. Know that we are holding you in love and prayer.

Blessings, and {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}},

Beth

we saw eye-to-eye on all therapy issues and she wrote the script for

the walker no problem...I am going to try to get our local Elk Lodge

to purchase it as Medicaid will not. (at least not with out a huge

fight and I just don't have it in me at this point)...so pray the Elk

lodge can and will take care of it (they were very kind when I called

and asked about it a week ago). I'll let you know how it turns out.

I have called and asked all around for charitiable organizations

who could help me with him and can't find ANY...only those you have

to pay or of course go thru the gov. for respite which is a lot of

red-tape and hassel and I just don't want to get involved with them

if I can get around it at all...So I am still searching on this one.

Thank you for your prayers and please keep them coming...dh has a

very hard attitude towards me. (cause I am placing serious demands on

him pertaining to Josiah's needs and my needs (both practical and

emotional) to take care of him)...I really need God to intervene and

change his heart and mind towards me and his family...please keep us

in your prayers. Thank you all so much.

Sincerely,

Lyn

I'm so sorry things are so rough for you. I don't know if this is something

that you would want but I'll throw it out there. I also don't know if it is

available there. But, here there is transportation available through the bus

system. The person must be pre-certified to ride but others can ride with

them. It is a van that is sent for the person and it is like $2 for a trip.

Medical assistance also pays for transportation to medical appts.

Just thought I 'd throw it out there.

You are in my thoughts

HI KARYN,

The whole necessity for me having my car is so I can take Josiah out

on frequent short trips so as to desensitize him from the whole

trauma of leaving the house and going places. To utilize a public

transportation especially something medically inclined would be

nothing but an added stress and sensitizing trauma to his already

overloaded system. I know this is available if worse comes to

worse...but I do need to get my car . Why pay outrageous monthly

payments on something to sit at a dealership and not even been

accessable for my use??? Not much sense in that. Thanks for

keeping me in your thoughts.

Sincerely,

Lyn

HI Lynn:

Sorry to hear about your surgery. I can imagine you are nervous. Although, now days, it is so much better , medically wise. Safer surgerys, alot more, and the Doctors learning everyday. I heard after any liver surgery, you feel so much better, instantly.

We will have you in our thoughts and prayers. And keep the faith. Let us know when you go in, ok.

Hi Lyn

I'm not surprised at all that you felt scared and upset, especially

as you don't have specialist facilities near where you live. How far

did you have to travel to visit the Mayo clinic? Then there is the

problem and expense of accomodation, and travel when you feel ill is

no joke.We in the UK are not used to these large distances. If we were

told to go to a hospital say more than twenty miles away we would be

amazed! Of course very specialist facilities are spaced out more, and

I am so thankful to live near a major liver disease and transplant

unit in Leeds. How I wish you and all other folks could have this.

You are very welcome to the prayers. When I can't sleep is a time I

use for this; something I started doing when in hospital for a while

and you know how hard it is to get some sleep in those places!

Take care Lyn

And best wishes to all on this site

Love Pam Leeds England
