Guest guest
Has anyone been to see Dr A. at Duke? I am an old member returning. Glad to see old names still here and welcome to new ones. My son is the one that has AIH. He is scheluded for a biopsy at Duke Friday and wanted to see if anyone has been to Dr . He is doing the biopsy himself. Rosemary
Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, I am lurker on this site but I had to reply to you to tell how much I respect, admire and trust Dr. at Duke. I have been a patient of his since he took over from Dr. Henneghan. Your son will be in good hands, I am sure. Best Regards, Shauna (AIH '86, Crohn's '95, PSC '99, listed '99, MELD=17) > Has anyone been to see Dr A. at Duke? I am an old member > returning. Guest guest
Alice, I also have the required two year waiting period. I've never been without a dog for more than two weeks and I've searched rescue groups, given a new puppy some thought, but haven't made a decision. Where did you find Duke? ...and I'm so happy for you! I'd love to know too if anyone can provide any insight as to how to certifiably train a " hearing dog " .
