BUT.she should get her doc to give her a prescription for the GENERIC as that will only cost a small amount and is vital in keeping PBC at bay.it is the ONLY treatment available for PBC.it isn't a cure, but is the only way to actually slow it down and some have managed to go into a sort of remission on it. Be sure she takes the generic. I would myself skip some food in order to get my medication.............or cut way back on electricity or anything else I could do to get that money in my pocket for it. Questions?
