If it's for PBC, I'm guessing stopping it will cause a flare. I don't know if it's one of the meds that has to be gradually withdrawn. Also, every state has what is called a " bridge " program that will help her get her meds. She can get information on that from any hospital or doctors office. Take care, Sandy C.
