We have to be careful drawing conclusions from antidotal evidence with

medications. Although I recognize that any drug, because they are all processed

by

the liver, can cause ill effect to some people, zithromax is widely used and

AIH is not a common disease. Yes, I have AIH and I have taken Zithro.

However, my mother, both my children and other family members have taken this

common anitbiotic and have no liver disease reaction.
