Guest guest
Joziemba56, I have no experience with ursodiol. However, it sounds as if it's time to call your doctor now, rather than waiting for your appointment next month. 1) Why be uncomfortable if your doctor can suggest a change that would improve things? Life is too short to put up with unpleasantness that can be avoided. 2) If your doctor can suggest a change now, then he or she would have more data to work with at your upcoming appointment. These digestive tract problems could indicate a larger problem, an adjustment that needs to be made for other reasons. I'm a dreadful example, as I tend to let things go until I'm in serious trouble. Don't follow my pattern. Harper In a message dated 1/8/09 6:50:34 PM, joziemba56@... writes: > > Anyone ever had to decrease the ursodiol? Guest guest
Anyone ever had to decrease the ursodiol? I'm taking 1200mg daily (4pills) but I seem to be having digestive problems a few hours afterwards. Stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhea. This has been going on now for months 2 pills after breakfast and 2 after dinner. If I miss a dose, I'm ok. Hate having to go somewhere after taking the urso, since I can never be sure if I can get to a bathroom. I'm planning on talking to my doctor next month at my check up. I've been taking ursodiol now for 10 months.
