Joanne,

You are so sweet to give your support for my suggestions to Trish. Sometimes I think you guys probably just think I'm nuts because I run my mouth so much! However, time after time, you all make me feel so wanted and appreciated. Thank you. You brightened my day!

In case you cannot tell, I truly believe that children are treasures from God. I have told my daughter that being a mother will be the hardest thing she will ever do in her life. I've also told her that at times it will bring her more pain than she can ever imagine she would be able to endure (such as when your child is sick, hurting, or even just sad). I've told her that in spite of the pain and hard work, that being a mother will bring her more joy than she ever even imagine. Nikki truly cannot wait to begin their family, but she will wait until the time is right because she knows that is what is best. However, given a choice, she'd have gotten married a year or so ago and already have one baby and maybe another on the way! I've told her she and her fiance cannot start a family until I can afford to be a grandmother! They are getting married May 29th and I told her I need about two years to recover from the wedding before I can afford for them to begin their family! I'm really sort of just teasing, but I'm kind of serious, also. They are both sensible and their plans right now are for them to begin working on their family after they've been married for about two years. That would meant they'd be around 25-26 when they have their first child and I told Nikki I thought that was a great age to start a family. Well, there I go, running my mouth again! I'll hush now!

with love,

You think kids are gifts from God.....wait untiil u get the grandbabies!!!!! omg , I cant tell you how precious they are!!! If I had known being a grandmother (or MiMi) was going to be this fun....I wouldnt have had the grandkids first!!! They are so great!!!!!!! Like our preacher always said......It is so good to see those headlights pull up to your house, but its even BETTER to see them leave after a couple of weeks!! lol....I definately understand that now....I keep mine for a week and wow it tires me out.....lol...BUTTTTTT I sure enjoy it!!

Good luck with the wedding....I know it will go perfect. Isnt it fun tho?? My son and his girlfriend informed me they were getting married in five days...at my house....I promise you....my feet didnt hit the ground until the wedding took place......and the bride is spanish....so we had the full meal deal.....BUT IT WAS BEUTIFULLLLLLL~~!!!!!!!! My other son got married 63 days later...and I think they both turned out equally greattttttt!!!,,,,,,,,,,,,Nowwwwww I have four precious grandchildren...so enjoy every minute of it!!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

Beckie,

I'm sure I will enjoy it all. I have no doubt that I will be in hog heaven when I have grandchildren to spoil and then send home! I do love kids but I am glad mine are grown because I'd have a hard time finding the energy to be a mom to little ones at this time in my life. I have a 7 year old nephew (he is my biological great nephew but my sis and her hubby adopted him). I adore him and try to have him overnight on a regular basis. I never have any trouble with him, but he does tire me out!
