How did it go? Smooches to Zachary... I know how much boys his age

appreciate lots of smooches. :)

Shirl -

It went good... they hit a bile duct when the took the biopsy and he

was in quite a bit of pain for a few hours after...He is up and about

now though. The Pedi GI called tonight to say the biopsy came back

great and she is now taking him off his 6MP which is all he is taking

now.. he stopped the prednisone back in february. Not sure where this

ride is gonna take us next but sometimes the winding roads are the

better ones than the straight and narrow.....so i like to tell myself!

that is terrific! I'm sorry he was in pain for awhile, but to hear

the results were good... YAAAAY!

Would it be okay if I sent your email address and name on to an

acquaintance of mine? Her son - my nephew's biology lab partner -

was diagnosed with UC and PSC (probably AIH also) about a year

ago... if so, you can email me at shirlschultz@....

Tell Zachary I'm happy for him, and I would suggest going out for an

ice cream, but... :)

you are more than welcome to give my email address to him if you like

its jayno29@...

we went out for pizza instead.. we have a place that makes it special

for him using his soy cheese when i bring it in for him.. and he can

eat ice cream... just made from rice milk and or soy....cant tell the

difference! i have to beat my 9 year old away from it! lol

I live in VT but see a doc in NH - do you go to Dartmouth? I was in

a great deal of pain after my biopsy, I wonder if thats what

happened with me too.
