Guest guest
I have pbc/aih.... And i get cramps in toes, ankles, knees, calves, hips, feet are constantly freezing cold and the topof my feet are always sore....But I also hurt and ache all the time, so i end up putting lotion on and rubbing it all in from my toes to my hips.....it helps, and also if i am able to soak in the tub at night before bedtime that helps the aching, but i then still have to rub down everything. > > I did respond to the e-mails regarding itching but neglected to mention that I have PBC but not AIH overlap. I had a weird thing happen a coule of times this week - my left hand has cramped up & my middle finger crosses over the index finger and I can't move it until the cramping stops. I may last a minute to minute & a half. Have any of you ever done this or heard of this? > > > >
Guest guest
I use to cramp in my hands, legs, and generally ached all over. Noni juice helped me tremendeously. I have been told that any supplement high in anti oxidants will help with cramping and body aches. Noni has worked for me. Other types of supplements are Gogi Juice, Ashitaba Tea, Barley Grass supplements or Green Tea. > > I did respond to the e-mails regarding itching but neglected to mention that I have PBC but not AIH overlap. I guess I missed this post. 2) Yes, my hand, particularly the left hand, often becomes " distorted " in this way. The pattern started about the time I was diagnosed with AIH, but it may have been a coincidence. Sometimes hot water seems to loosen it up more quickly, Sometimes repeatedly pulling the fingers back into place helps. It's more weird-feeling (and weird-looking) than truly painful, but I really, really don't like it. Sometimes the hand seems to just do this for no reason; however, I've learned to avoid getting it into positions that may lead to the finger cross-over. My thumb is very much involved in the odd positioning, too. Harper

Guest guest
>PLEASE tell me about the bar of soap thing. I have no idea what your talking about but I sure am interested to know. What does a bar of soap have to do with anything, very curious; I'll try anything Thanks, > I did respond to the e-mails regarding itching but neglected to mention that I have PBC but not AIH overlap. Guest guest
Hi there... I am not sure on my grade or stage... But i have just been going through about 6 months worth of bloody noses, and so i ended up going to a ear, nose, throat doctor and he wasn't surprised because of the PBC... I had a leaky vessel, so he cauturized it and next week we will see how things are. So this was a new symptom for me and was told i was settleing into a new stage and also i am developing Allergies and was also told not to be surprised since the immunity issues can cause everything to screw up. I had a very bad night last night with the hurting and aching so bad from my toes all the way up and including my hips. My husband ended up massaging and using lotion from toe to hips also. It hurt so bad to try to lay down that the only thing i could do is try to stretch my body to make it stop for a second, but then i ended up walking around for a bit and i took TWO TYLENOL.... I also have the itching, and the time i really get it is at night when i am trying to settle down, and i have found lotion has helped that a bit also. And yes to the dentist... i am 38 and i had all my top teeth removed and half on bottom a year and a half ago. I do have dentures but i HATE them... And all the glue and wafer stuff makes me sick so i don't use them. Was a very disappointing experience.... Unfortuneately being mad, sad, depressed, anxious, and getting panic attacks are apart of my daily routine. And it does get to be toooo much at times.... But i have now been concentrateing on becoming more spiritual... and it is helping a bit... i am a novice, but if i can get my mental health back on track, then that means i will be able to build strength back to help myself and do more research and learn more things. I am also on the urso forte i take 1000mg.... but i have been on the predisone a few years back... but my numbers do not come down so far on either medicine... so i wonder why i am even taking it. I go again in march to the specialist... to go over the numbers again... but it all seems a big waste to me.... The thing about the soap... i have no idea.....I read the emails, but if it isn't specific to what i am going through sometimes i don't pay attention, so sorry i can't comment on that, try to write linda again, i'm sure she will comment on it again. I don't know if anything i have said will help you, but just know you are not alone.... and you can always e-mail me direct at my03bugs@.... Okay.... Blessings and love and light.. > > > > > > I did respond to the e-mails regarding itching but neglected to > > mention that I have PBC but not AIH overlap.
