Is it possible to gain 10 pounds of water weight overnight?

I was diagnosed last year in 05 with Auto-Immune. Part of my meds are

Aldactone and Lasix. They seemed to work the first year,but a

coupleweeks ago, I woke up and it felt as if a cement brick was in my

abdomen. I know that it is water, butits like, my stomach went from

completely flat to bloated completely overnight. Have the water pills

stopped working? I go to the DR on Thursday and am gonna bring this

up, but I was hoping to get some insight. Thank you!
