Guest guest
Thanks! That sounds like it would work. I can't imagine " going " more frequently than I have this weekend. And I'm thinking that with the fevers, I should get an antibiotic. It's been nice because I haven't been to any doctors for awhile & if I go today to my primary, that'll give me 2 appts. this week. I've got a couple of hours to think about whether I understand " ditzy " . It's been a way of life for me the past year or so! bsmyers1@... wrote: Okay I know I sometimes can be ditzy but did you say you had a UTI? I have a real good remedy if you do. It's called a kidney buster and you mix cranberry juice and ginger ale in the biggest glass you have and drink as many as you can. You will go alot and flush out all the toxins. We used this all the time when I worked in the nursing home and in the hospital. I also used it when I did hospice care.
Guest guest
Hi the amount you use depends on the size of your glass but you want more cranberry juice than ginger ale. I use one of those big gulps from a fast food place and put enough ice in to keep it cold and then the rest is cranberry juice and ginger ale. I have only once had to get meds from a doctor and I am 44. p.s. I drink at least 4 of these a day.
Guest guest
If you have a fever or blood in your urine you should go to a doctor. I usually catch symptoms early on. Ditzy has been a way of life since birth. Now it is just more pronounced.lol I hope you feel better.
Guest guest
So far, no fever today. I'll give it until this evening & see. No, here's Ditzy I had my husband make an appt. to have my car inspection (to get liscense plates renewed), and the paperwork was for a car that my husband used to have--Ditzy. That's part of the reason that I didn't make a doctors appt. today. With drinking this stuff, maybe it'll clear up. Thanks, . bsmyers1@... wrote: If you have a fever or blood in your urine you should go to a doctor. I usually catch symptoms early on. Ditzy has been a way of life since birth. Guest guest
I have a lot of ditz in my life. If your fever comes back please call the doctor especially if you find blood in your urine. The drink works really good but if the infection has set in you made need an antibiotic. Good luck,
Guest guest
Thanks for your concern. I am going to M.D. tommorow. No blood in rine; just cloudy looking & then the burning. Do you have to worry about this hurricane coming? I know that some of the people in this group do. bsmyers1@... wrote: I have a lot of ditz in my life. Guest guest
It's Friday and so far no problem with the hurricane or rather tropical storm in this area. I hope all our friends in Virginia and North and South Carolina are okay. What did the Dr. say?
Guest guest
He said that it was loaded with WBCs, blood, & more goodies. Gave me a Sulfa drug & seems to be working. This so good; he'll sit and explain things so clearly. I learn more from him than both of the specalists (granted, he has more time than they do). But it's nice to feel like the doc is interested in his patients. Thanks for asking. I've been wandering about them all, too. bsmyers1@... wrote: It's Friday and so far no problem with the hurricane or rather tropical storm in this area. Guest guest
I'm glad you are feeling better. My husband was sent to easter Pa. and then to Va. for storm work. He called a while ago and may be home tomorrow. Everything here still okay.
Guest guest
What does your husband do? My dad use to be a lineman and worked out of town when storms left alot of people without power. Haven't heard much about the coast since Friday. Went shopping with one of my sisters on Sat. & had all my sisters, brother-in-laws, & parents over to bbq yesterday. Had alot of fun but end up exhausted before it was over. Oh, and of course, had to watch the St.L Cardinals all weekend. Glad to hear that you're doing OK. It's strange how we go along & learn to deal with various symptoms. There are good days & then something gets ya & you're down again. Even yesterday, I had fun but by the time everyone left, I was just about wiped out...... bsmyers1@... wrote: I'm glad you are feeling better.
