what about this pain on the right side???

What is the pain on the right hand side? It feels like someone jabs a knife

in my side for a few seconds several times a day. When I spoke to my DR about

it...he kind of ignores it. He said my liver and spleen seems swollen so I need

to loose weight....I am confused. What does it mean when the liver is

swollen? Why do the DR's never seen to acknowledge this pain, and is weight loss

the

solution to the pain? What do you think? Thanks.
