Guest guest
like Joanne did because my life is not interesting! Not working, no kids, no significant other, and 60 years old. Not yet a crone.gotta save something for my 65th birthday! Just wanted to make a few comments about what I am involved in, for those who are new. The doctor referral lists, by name and by state, are a good resource if you or anyone you know is looking for a gastro or hepatologist. Links are http://pbcers.org/DrRefName.htm and http://pbcers.org/DrRefState.htm. If you have any changes, deletions, corrections or additions, send them to me at kuerston@.... I am a chat host on Saturdays from 3-5 eastern time. I have AIH/PBC overlap and welcome all with either of those conditions or both. You can also take advantage of the Thurs. night chat, also for those with either or both. I assume whenever any of us reads a website that explains what we haven't been able to explain, that we print out the information and run it by our doctors. Just make sure it's from a reliable medical site like NIH or Mayo's, and not from somebody's blog if you want your doctor to take you and it seriously! Also, please share it with the group. We are here to help as well as be helped, support as well as be supported. Hey, even share it with your family, if applicable! We can do our own trolling through our digest to see if anyone has posted on a certain topic, by going to / and putting it in the search box. Hope some of this is helpful.
