My daughters head seems to be rounding out except for what you would

I guess call the soft spot. Does anyone know anything about how long

the " soft spot " is suppossed to stay apart? Her Dad took her to the

ortho dr today who said that she need to leave her starband on awhile

longer (which I was expecting and am glad for), but I just wonder how

long before that " spot " forms. Does anyone else have experience with

this?

I don't know a lot about plagio still learning but I do know that the

soft spot is not supposed to close up until after a year old...and I

am pretty sure it won't open back up once its closed. An early soft

spot being closed would make me worry about craniosynostosis....my

daughters was gone when she was 6 mths old...and she is a cranio

baby. I would consult a neuro about that not the Ortho...doubt he

knows a lot about Cranio...just a thought.
