Why does your doctor want you to avoid gluten?

etc. and where you find them. . . . <<

Let me tell you about a site and a group that are specifically for people who

must avoid gluten. If you go to celiac.com, you'll find answers to some of your

questions and links to other sites. Also, Celiacsupport@... is a good

support group. There are many others, including ones that might be local for

you. Clan.com provides a useful free newsletter for people eating GF.

I don't want to bore non-CD people in the group by listing favorite GF products.

If you write me directly, I'll be glad to discuss them with you. Yes,

gluten-substitutes are more expensive. Since I developed CD, we use few gluten

substitutes and concentrate on foods that are naturally gluten-free.
