Sorry to hear you have aih.... Theresa, do you ever go to Mohegan? We usually go there. But, now that we won at Foxwoods, maybe we will be going there. Maybe, someday we can meet each other there. Do you ever go to Mohegan? We like to go and forget, and try to win!!!

Again, Theresa thanks for the congrats.... Hope you are feeling pretty good. Write to the group if you ever need some support. There is many here , that have AIH, and will listen. I will , too. Take care.

Love, Gaynel--- Southbridge, Mass.

I am so happy that Cliff is near the top of the list. It sounds like it won't be long now. Hang in there and keep us informed. I have my fingers crossed for you guys. I know you will get the call soon.

Gaynel,

I'm so sorry you missed the first call but I didn't want to dwell on it. I know that both you and Cliff are disappointed but it sounds like you have a well thought out plan this time.

Hang in there. The right liver will come. I know it will.

I'm doing fine. Just got home from working at a coworkers home. We still do not have power at the office and it is a nightmare. They tell us it could be as much as another week. I don't know how we will get all the patients seen.

Gaynel,

It would also be hard for my husband to give up his beer if he had to. He only drinks one or two a night, but he does like it. He also likes to have a margerita when we go out for Mexican food. Bud took me up on my bribe to give up cigarettes again. He has quit smoking about 3 times in 13 years we have been married. The last time he quit was six months before I got sick. When I got sick and was in the hospital in VA, he bought a pack after getting off the plane. He hid it from me for a few months. He said he started back smoking because he was worried about me. He kept saying he was going to quit again but kept putting it off. I told him that if he would quit, we would put back money every week that he did not smoke and that by January he would have the money to take a week long live aboard scuba diving trip. He has been 2 weeks and 1 day without cigarettes. He is still chewing the nicorette gum, but weaning down on that, too. The doctor prescribed zyban this time and it really has seemed to make it easier for him to quit. Not easy by any means, just a little easier.

I felt fairly decent in the middle of the day but then my sugar dropped so I ate a small bowl of cereal - not smart! I have felt like crap again since then and it's been about 2 hours. If I could just quit eating, I think I'd be fine!

I hope you and Cliff are having a good evening.

W

Thanks for your reply. The weather here is not too bad but it is supposed to get down to 28 tonight and then back up to about 50 in the morning. I have a great apprecaition for Texas weather--I love snow but not too much of it. We don't have snow very often where I live. I think last year we had one ice storm and I missed maybe two days work. I live in the country so when we have ice I don't and can't get out. We may have a pretty bad winter this year. That is what everyone around here is telling me anyway. I only moved to the country last year so it is a little different for me. When I lived in the city, Fort Worth I went to work no matter what. Hope all is well for you. Stay warm

Hi, Gaynel,

I am looking forward to a better year for all of us. I seem to get alot of respiratory infections every winter...some years are worse than others. It is my goal to stay out of the hospital for the rest of the winter!

hugs, Ginger (:
