Guest guest
My Dear Friends: I hope this e-mail finds you surrounded by God's Love & Protection. I continue to take good care of myself so I can continue to improve. I'm not sure if any of you remember Alvarez; she was once a member of our group. I can honestly say that has become much more than just a friend; I was able to meet her in person a couple of years ago when I was going home and once I realized that I was changing planes in Miami I took advantage and stayed in miami overnight in order to meet her. It was truly a adorable opportunity for both of us. Well I just received a letter from her in the mail letting me know that her brother passed away a couple of days ago. We spoke about him previously and I knew that he was in a nursing home but no matter how delicate the health of a loved one becomes you are really never prepared this this very sad event. We can only find comfort in knowing that he is in a better place where there is no more pain; no more suffering. You all also must have heard about the recent storm that struck Miami so Our Precious is without electricity and phone service. I was speaking with her a couple of days ago to make sure that she was okay and before we could end our conversation the phone line went out and for what I understand it may take a while for them to get their service restored. My heart wants so much to be with her while she deals with the loss of her brother and feel so helpless that I can't even say a few words to her or even send flowers to the funeral home since I have no idea where he is so all I can do at this time is to lift her in prayer and send her a card in the mail which I will do in the morning. I have attached a picture of me and at our meeting in miami. Thank you so much for allowing me to share this with you. blessings, tony
