Guest guest
I heard of PWCs getting rid of the ithching with an antibiotic. Do a search on this list. They stated the antibiotic name and duration of treatment. > My arms, shoulders and hands have been itching for a few months no, > it just won't stop. Now my forhead has started itching, too. Guest guest
Sounds like allergy more likely than bad supplements. Or, because it is localized, perhaps a neurological problem. Does it come and go? Do you get any relief from putting something on your skin? Adrienne My arms, shoulders and hands have been itching for a few months no, it just won't stop. Now my forhead has started itching, too. Can it be some reaction to all the supplements I'm taking? My doctor wants me to have my liver tested, in case the supplements have had some toxins in them... Guest guest
all of my itching was from food intolerances & now that I rotate my foods I have no more of the symptoms. For what it is worth
Guest guest
I have been allergy tested...nope... Creams don't help...like hydrocortison...That's why the doc wants my liver tested...It usually starts at the end of summer, but was gone for many years, and has been back this summer. I thought I was allergic to sun, but doctor said, that kind of allergy starts at the beginning of summer... Maarit.... > > Sounds like allergy more likely than bad supplements. Guest guest
That is what I keep thinking, no matter what the doc says....LOL Maarit.... well then, believe yourself! Do you by any chance take St 's Wort? That makes the ocassional person very sensitive to sunlight. If there is one such herb, maybe another one you are talking (or supplement) is affecting you that way. You could find out by stopping them one at a time. Or what about covering up very carefully for awhile? When I was a girl morning sunlight used to make me sneeze a lot. Guest guest
Did you itch only on selected parts of your body, like Maarit has it? Adrienne all of my itching was from food intolerances & now that I rotate my foods I have no more of the symptoms. Guest guest
I can only eat the foods I have not eaten a lot of, I have always been allergic to dairy & wheat. So now since I ate a lot of corn tortillas instead of bread I cannot tolerate corn anymore. But at some point, maybe next year I can eat it again. I have a monthly calendar & chart on the fridge. The only foods I can tolerate every day are Organic Rice & Buffalo meat. I have to rotate my vegetables & other meats & nuts & fruits. I can only tolerate cooked organic foods. But it got rid of my itching & shortness of breath & wheezing & bloating & a lot of other things. But it is hard to stay on this diet. I even have to rotate the spices I use. Guest guest
Hi. Well, I WAS on Zyrtec (the doc was giving me samples) but she said she was all out of samples. *sigh* The medicine would cost $60 for 30 pills, and like you, I cannot afford that. So, she told me to buy OTC Claritin. I have been taking Claritin for a couple days now, to very little relief. I do have a few small bloody sores on my arms from scratching, but so far not a lot. No scars yet either. Right at this very moment my hands and arms are itching like crazy... other times it will be my feet and sometimes my legs... a lot of times my back drives me batty... there's nothing like a good back-scratchin'! I do have another question to ask everyone---- the bile salt that flows through your system and to your skin, do they actually ever come through the skin? I have some bumps on my arms that hard little ball-like stuff comes through. They aren't pimples so I was just wondering of it could be the actual bile salts. Any ideas? Thanks a lot! > > > > Hello all. I went to my doctor app't Wednesday. I am very > > discouraged.
