Missy,

I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with AIH. I can

totally relate to your feelings, as I just found this website last

week, and my first message was feel like I have been given a death

sentance. I have stage 2 of fibroids. and have done the bazillian

blood tests and liver biopsy also. I also have 4 children boys 16,

15, and 10, and a girl 7. I have told them, and it is bringing our

family closer together, and the kids see the need to help out more

with less bickering. I certainly am looking at each day differently

now.

I also am feeling hopeful at least now. When you search all the

websites, you find lots of scary stuff. And then you find this

support group, you will see that your life is going to go on. I

am even thinking that I am going to be old and gray, I am only 37.

I guess a positive way to look at this whole thing, at least for me

is not not take anything foregranted, live life to the fullest when

you feel up to it, and treasure how wonderful your own little

family can be to help you out when you are not feeling good at all.

Hang in there,

Hugs,

Kelli
