Alpha 1 Antitrypsin deficiency- Liver

I currently have two children who have Alpha 1 Antitrypsin deficiency

and have both been put on the Liver Transplant waiting list. The

longer they live with their current liver the better so I'm trying to

do whatever I need to help them live on the current liver as they are

currently stable. Does anyone have tips regarding the disease and how

to ensure they remain stable or any other related information they

might know.

I don't know anything about this disease but wanted to say how sorry I am that

you are all going through this.

You may want to check one of the medical web sites to find some answers. I

hope some one can help you and your children.
