I wanted to second everything that's already been said to you and offer you a suggestion. I am not dealing with anything like you're dealing with but I have had my bouts of deep clinical depression and, no pun intended, it's the pits. I am blessed to have a wonderful counsellor, do you? Might be worth investigating because depression can be as debilitating as any other chronic illness. One suggestion she made to me when I was feeling overwhelmed by everything was to start journalling. It doesn't need to be a novel a day, just a sentence or two. I have found my most effective method is to write myself an email and send it, and my fears/worries out into the WWWormhole. It really does help to write/type it out of my system and once you read it back to yourself, you're able to process the whole thing in a more detached way.
