Guest guest
Kathy, Besides not having any problems with his joints, has never had a rash -- that we're aware of. Guess that's not unheard of. We've watched " Larenzo's Oil " in the past. Excellant film!! I'd advise it to anyone. Both and I are learning a lot about JRA and the different meds available - as well as the side effects. I've been giving him as much info as I can without scaring him. (He pretty much knows as much as I do - and still learning.) If he has a question, I simply answer as best I can, since I still don't know much myself. I'm the kind of person that wants to know everything there is to know about something. I don't want any surprises. When I need to, I take a pause, let it soak in, and then continue. doesn't ask much, he's a pretty quiet guy. We're really doing well I was a little nervous about the pred. - but I think it's because of that chat room and how the man responded. Now that I've got my facts... I feel so much better. 's doctor did a great job in preparing us. I simply didn't know anything about the different dosages. 's doing well in school (8-11:30 a.m.) Today he told me he's all caught up with his school work. After missing four weeks - I think that's great! Being a junior in the best of times is no easy task! This is his 2nd week back. With the helpful advise and experience of everyone sending emails, we're in a good place. Thanks to all of you I feel I've gotten my second wind! Guest guest
Hi Patti Glad to hear you are doing well. Going back to what you posted, I've never seen anything on here about AIH not being the main liver disease for this board. I thought it still was. Have you found another helpful board? Could you share which one? I'm always keen to learn more. Best wishes Pam Leeds, England AIH 2000
