Guest guest
Hi , During the last 6 weeks or so of wearing his first helmet he grew very little (around 9 months of age) which was very discouraging from the correction stand-point. And he was out of a helmet all together for just under a month (by the time we got an appointment with our ped, a recasting appointment and delivery of the new helmet). It sounds kinda silly to write it, but I actually prayed that he wouldn't grow without his helmet on. (Don't worry, I still fed him - LOL) We've seen more improvement over the last month since re-banding him and are pleased we decided to continue treatment with a second band. Still hoping for more though... Being involved in education, no question is a silly question - only the unasked question... So about the juice, I've read that white grape juice and apple juice are good types to start with. I believe that no more than 4 oz of juice/day is recommended for a child under 12 months. I still dilute 4 oz of juice with 4 oz of water and loves it! Also citrus juices, like grapefruit, orange, etc. are not recommended until after a year. Hope that helps... e
