Guest guest
Trish, It is wonderful to hear that Kelsey is doing so well. She is one amazing kid and I have no doubt that she will do great things. Please give her a big birthday hug for me! Enjoy every minute. You will blink your eyes and she will be grown. Even though I know she is already 9 going on 25! Happy Birthday Kelsey! Love, W

Guest guest
Dear Trish in Ontario, I read with interest about your daughter, Kelsey, today and I too wish her many happy returns and many more B-days to come. I completely understood your feeling of overwhelming helplessness when it comes to a sick child, not knowing what to do and leaving her in the hands of complete strangers! My daughter was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 20 months and never thought that we would make it this far. Today, she is a happy, healthy, loving teenager who will turn 16 on the 17th of Feb. With God's love, friends and family praying and a whole crew of doctors who knew what they were doing we truly see a great future for her. Her name is Clare, by the way. We too live in Ontario and were very lucky to have Sick Kids so close at hand. Now that I have been recently diagnosed with AIH I feel a lot more confident dealing with it, knowing that my daughter survived a very serious illness. Please keep us updated on Kelsey's progress. What a great accomplishment for her to be getting off the pred. and the entocort. Congrats!
