I think it would be helpfull to go to the pbc'ers web site loads of info there. I wonder if you could get another gastro as I don't know how a HMO works this one seems to know very little. my best advice is to go to this site www.pbcers.com read all that you can they even have a list of doc's in most areas. I am not very good at giving help as I have brain fog and get confused but I am sure someone else will write.
