Now you sound like me with the swallowing problems! My ENT gave me Nasonex nasal

spray - I just do a couple of sprays per nosrtil at bedtime. I don't notice that

it

adds to the dryness.

I am having a hard time with allergies this year. As most of you know I

have Sjorgens and that makes me very dry.

Everytime I take allergy meds it makes the dryness extreme. I can't even

swallow and I feel like I have something in my throat all the time.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to clear the sinuses

without these awful side affects?

My doc said to just suffer through but I find that a hard option to " swallow " .

Thanks for any help.

I asked my doc about a nose spray and he said if the pills bother me

the sprays wouldn't do any good.

I think he needs sprayed. He even said allergy season was almost over

so I'd survive. I told him allergy season is all year for me. He's a

dingbat.

I am originally from Alabama. Whenever I go back for a visit, I really

suffer.

Hey Sherry!

I live in AL also. What would life be like without

sinus problems, congestion, post nasal drip, itchy

eyes, scratchy throat, etc.? I just look at my hubby

and shake my head when he gets a cold and complains

for a week or so. I don't think he could handle it

almost every day!

I don't think he'd like what I'd irrigate.

I saw him on Monday and I actually fell asleep in the room waiting for

him to come back with my prescriptions. This is after waiting so long(I

was early) that I had a sugar drop and had to drink juice.

Would you believe that he made it out of the building and was going

home before I did?

Unless it gets really cold and stays that way for awhile I don't seem

to get rid of my allergies. Winter,Spring,Summer and Fall that covers

me.

p.s. maybe we should start a doctor dingbat club

Have you tried to go to the doctors with her or talking to her doctor?

Maybe if she sees how concerned you are she will be more forth coming.

I hope you get the answers you need.

Feel free to ask anything.
