Guest guest
Hi, Debby! The question is: did you save your new shirt? I think it's amazing what a difference in lab techs can make -- sometimes I have no marks at all and sometimes my whole arm turns black. UGH. I look like a junkie a lot of the time!!! (And I just noticed FOUR new bruises on my legs, with no idea how they got there. Thank goodness it's winter!) Glenda - did you talk with your doc? I will ditto all that people have said about the book, and then if you can swing it or arrange it through your doc I think everyone who's diagnosed with AIH should see a nutritionist/dietician, too. I know I can't eat too much cholesterol or too much dairy fat -- I have a HUGE HUGE HUGE problem with eggs. I don't know if it's digestive, or my body's personal preferences, but you'll figure it out. Meanwhile, welcome to the group. Hope everyone is well... Clara, where do you live in OR? Has it snowed yet in eastern WA, Shirlee? It is of course pouring over here. Made it fun to hang holiday lights. Have a great Tuesday! Guest guest
Shirl, I washed my shirt in cold water immediately and the stain went away! I am thrilled! Granted, it wasn’t an expensive shirt, but a shirt nonetheless! Like you, I have bruises all over my legs. They just seem to grow. No clue where they came from! Maybe once I find out what direct bilirubin does, I will understand! I just keep plugging along, glad to have meds to help out with this disease so I can live a normal life! That is the best thing! Guest guest
Shirl (the other Shirley in WA), I live in the greater metropolitan Portland area. And I don't think we ahd snow yet, although I just camae from NH, ( Manchester area) And we ahd two snow sessions before I left, on Dec. 7th. That was all the snow I need. Went to the coast Sunday and Monday and it was very stormy, but no snow in the pass either. I like it like that. The ocean was very angry, but it made me feel good to see that it is still doing its thing, like normal. Clara in OR [ ] Debby, Glenda, others Hi, Debby! The question is: did you save your new shirt?
