Im supposed to have that thingey put down my throat because Im having trouble swallowing, even water sometimes....get halfway down then stops. You say he's going to do it in the office? With me, doctors said I would be in the hospital's daystay unit but Ive just lost my nerve after being poked so much. Office conjures up computers, filing cabinets, copying machines, phones ringing and a hard wooden chair ! Hope someone can give their advice. We are getting everything straightened out here. I am getting myself ready for that day. I have been getting anxious. But, now it could be 3 months, 6 months, don't know, but we will be ready... The doctors say now, they have been researching that hep c patients can donate their liver-- as long as no cirrhosis... as, people with hep c can pass on early or an accident. so, that will be better for Cliff, as he would have less rejection, as they both have the virus in the blood. So, cliff will accept a liver from a hep c person. It is amazing what the drs know today. And we are all lucky to be living this day and age. Guest guest Posted April 20, 2004 Report Share Posted April 20, 2004 Lyn, How true. I have a new computer. Bought a MAC and I love it. My son in law talked me into it. My daughter said she was so happy I had found a computer that understood me and I understood it. She said she should have figured I'd like a MAC because " artsy fasrtsy " people loved them, and I definitely was an " artsy fartsy " type person. Isn't it great to be loved and understood. I had to laugh because she's right. (Don't tell her I said so, she usually is most of the time). My son has moved into his own place with a couple of room mates and they are 19 and 20 year olds having a blast. I do miss him but I love his room mates. One is a guy and the other is the female cousin of the 1st room mate. , brings the boys back down to earth. She's great and I think it is wonderful she's there. He's use to being raised by a house full of women. MOM, SIS and many aunts and Grandmothers that think he hung the moon, so its very comforting to him to have her there. He calls her is little sister. (She's actually older than he is but I guess he already has an older sister so that's his way of making her special). We all have dinner together once a week and it is so much fun to see them. I do miss the kids in and out of the house, however I am getting very use to just being again. Don't get me wrong, I love being MOM but somehow over the last 26 years I've lost being . Talk to you soon. Hope all is going well for you and all the others here.
