Dear Tra,Stress definitely played a part in an increase in Randy's discomforts pre tx. The more stress the worse the numbers and symptoms. After he just turned all the day to day things over to me and concentrated on getting himself as healthy as he could for the surgery things went alot smoother. But I know this is hard for most people to come out of the game and be a spectator...Dear Patty,Randy had his days and nights reversed during the last stages of the liver disease before the tx. I find this to be true of many liver patients. Dont know the reason but they seem to not be able to sleep during the night and wander the house endlessly. I used to just get up with him and at least he would eat during the night even if I couldnt get him to eat during the day. I made many a fried egg sandwich with tons of Miracle Whip on it for him at 2am. We still laugh about it....Love,Cheryl & Randy

Cheryl.... you're right...it's sleep reversal.... when I was end-stage I

slept most of the day and rambled about during the night....sometimes I

would go out walking...its very peaceful at 4:00 in the A.M. and you can

talk to God real easy especially if all the stars are out and the birds

start singing just before dawn... ( a great stress reducer too by the

way...in fact walking in a peaceful area while meditating is an excelent

tonic for stress...

love jerry
