Patty [ ] Re: Hydroxychloroquine sulfate Hi Jerry, Actually, I did open it. I was curious about what they tell nurses about it. It does include a mention of being cautious giving it to those with liver disease. That's the first I'd heard of it. I was curious if I could more find info on that. My mother has hep c, and recently been dxed with RA. She has been put on plaquenil, but no mention of a contradiction with the liver. Of course, Imuran is another drug to be " cautious of " with liver disease. Go figure!!! I'll let you know if I find out anything.
