Guest guest
Ok...I am the weakest link..I admit it! Specially since I had seen that once before a long time ago and still didn't get it right. Now for something completely different... I ended up in the ER Monday morning (about 5:30 am)I had a rough night, hard time going to sleep, very uncomfortable with persistant RUQ pain. (I get RUQ discomfort all the time..but it is more on and off but it is usually tolerable) This was different...a little more intense radiating around rib cage to back and up into chest. Also couldnt stand anything laying on my right side...poor hubby almost got an elbow when he tried to snuggle. Decided to go to check it out since it wouldn't stop. They did blood work, chest x-ray, gave me a shot of demoral then ultrasound on gall bladder. Told me nothing showed, follow up with surgeon, possibly need to look further @ gall bladder. I went home, slept all day courtesy of the demoral and felt much better. It started up the next day while at work..almost passed out. So called the gastro. He got my results from hospital..I had been too out of it to even ask for the numbers on Monday. Not sure what we have going, but get this...and this is the weirdest of all. For the first time since dx, my enzyme levels are within normal range. And they had been heading that way, ever so slowly over the past couple of months; just never thought I would get there since I always seemed to flare when I got close. Great news but very surprising in light of my April biopsy being not so wonderful. I see my wonderful hep doc on Friday, and my gastro doc told me to run everything by him, and then we would take it from there, see what else we might need to look at if the pain continues. I am just kind of puzzled....enzymes good, but biopsy not, and having more pain than normal...doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Does it to anybody else? Thanks nne
