Guest guest
Hello everyone: I am new here and am learning so much, from this group and my hypo road. I'm not sure where to update.... 1). TSH is still " too " low at 0.02. My endo. wants to lower to 0.137 for my levothyroxine. I asked her about Armour and she wasn't excited about it. I told her I feel like my brain is full of cotton, and she didn't " seem " too concerned with HOW it's effecting my life. Does anyone have any suggestions/vitamins (ANYTHING?) on how to help the brain fog? We talked about adult ADHD, which I've looked into....but not really sure that's the culprit. I mentioned (wrote) Reverse T3 on my list of symptoms I gave to her (it's in my chart!) she crossed it off and wasn't on board with that either..........says it takes 3 weeks to come back and then went on about something else.... 2). We are waiting for my Vit. D levels to come back....still pending. My symptoms (so long to list: * Wart breakout * Skin breaks -lead to boils! * Allergies and I've never had allergies! * low grade body temp. (it was 97.5 today in the office) and many many more. But, I asked her about Adrenal fatigue, and she said that's a buzz word on the internet....I am in a adrenal group here but I am looking to see if anyone knows -is it ok to take adrenal supplements even if you don't have the official diagnosis of adrenal fatigue? Will it hurt me? At a local health food store I've seen " adrenal fatigue " supplements. I'm willing to try ANYTHING to help this brain fog but worry.... She told me to start taking a good probiotic and is going to test my B12 levels. (I am already low in Vit. D and take 2000 IU a day....). Unfortunately, I have no insurance so finding another endo. is not an option. I love my endo. and she is fantastic....but, even though I'm disappointed to have not talked more about the low grade temp. and the adrenal fatigue, I am very happy she's wanting to test a few more things. I exercise 5-6 days per week -just started hiking. I normally will exercise (walk) min. 30 minutes each time, and more like an hour on other days. When I was so sick in June with the allergies I couldn't do anything more than walk. It was the only thing I could keep a hold of....I need to get a bike or something like that....but, walking right now is my only saving grace..... Any thoughts? Thank you most sincerely, -- in CA
