Guest guest
My vitamin D level was 7 when my doc had the blood tests done. I am on 50,000 units once a week. My nails have bad ridges on them. My skin on my hands looks like i am 90. I dont know if that is related or not. A doc at the hospital said i should be getting at least 15 minutes a day in the sun. I had been told to stay out of the sun because of the meds i am on, which are many. I did what he said a couple days and now i have these horrible marks on my arms that look like i am a burn victim. No more sitting in the sun for me. So, is there a connection between the Vitamin D level alnd hypothyroidism? What about the energy level? and the weight gain? My cardiologist (who evidently didnt read my chart about my health conditions) said that i need to be walking, and doing areobic exercise........... I have degenerative joint disease, hereated and bulging discs in my back, a " tear " inside my right knee and switcheds doc about that because i dont want to have knee replacement so now i just get shots in the knees. I have chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia (which i guess people who dont have them think they arent real), arthritis in my neck.... i have a wheel chair that reclines because sometimes i cant even sit up myself. i have a walker that helps out when i dont need the chair. i havent showered in months because i can not lift my legs to get into the tub. I take neurontin for the nerve damage in my legs. and now i feel like a nut case or a bad person because i CANT DO AREOGICS OR TAKE WALKS. GIVE ME A BREAK. And, Nooooooooo , i didnt say any of that to the cardiologist. i was stunned. i guess i just ASS UMED, THAT HE KNEW MY HEALTH HISTORY. I feel like such an idiot. I also have an organic brain disorder that cause short term memory loss and while i was in his office, i was pretty much " brain on tilt " and made no sense. oh great. thanks for letting me share again...........
