Hi, Sophie. I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time; apparently a

small percentage of hypo patients do.

The tales we hear here from them are heart-rending; as is yours.

If you have no will to live I would suggest you get professional

psychological help, although I doubt that is the basis of your problem.

But you do need help if you're feeling like jumping out of a window,

while hopefully getting better help with the hypo problem.

As for myxedema coma followed by death, unfortunately that is a fact.

What the exact time frame is I don't know, but it sounds extremely

uncomfortable [to say the least]. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THYROID HORMONE IN

SOME FORM OR YOU WILL DIE! And the TSH level of 26 is several hundred

times the normal maximum level so I would suggest you NOT wait on

getting treatment. At some point [perhaps very soon, if not already]

major organ damage may start to occur which can apparently take extended

time to correct [if at all]. Please take the prescribed dose of T4

while you seek further help, even if it doesn't make you feel better

right away. While there may well be other complications the way your

body feels is [in part at least] its way of crying out for the T4 it can

no longer produce.

You can buy any number of quack products guaranteed to solve your

problems. The fact is NONE OF THEM WILL WORK, period. There are NO

HERBS, and NO SUPPLEMENTS that will treat hypothyroidism so don't fall

for the con artists and quacks who only hope to enrich themselves at

your expense.

FYI in the US doctors cannot accept commissions on prescribed

medications by law IIRC.

Dotox is generally a quack process with no credibility in allopathic

medicine and no credible research to support its effacy. Some of it can

be mildly or extremely dangerous.

Best,

..
