Hi Diane,

I looked today literally all pictures in files (they are all

SOOOOOOO Beautiful ).And I've seen Andy's pic called 'almost 21

months' ( BTW they are BOTH SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!! ).So I figured out that

he had his band quite late.Am I talking sense?

What I'm trying to say here is this.My son Boris will start on his

band this Friday (16 months ).I just wanted to know if you've seen

some results in this 3 months?!??(is it 3 months since Andy started

wearing his DOC band?? )At what age did you start, 19 months??Please

corect me if I got it all wrong...

Thanks,

Aleksandra-Boris' mum (will be banded this Friday!!!!!!!)

Hi, yes, andy really got going with the band at 19 months. we have not seen much results. but Jill has! her son also started at 19 months and wore the band till age 2 and they got something like 70 percent correction! andy is already such a big boy, I'm afraid a lot of his growth occured before we got him the band. Plus, I'm still wondering if Andy might have a fused suture. we have not done a ct scan, so we don't know. but it would also explain a lack of correction for us and the fact his head was misshapen from birth. anyway, I bet your son will do great. I wish we'd gotten started at such a young age as 16 months! : ) diane and andy

Hi Diane,

I have had several series of the shots and they are

really great. They put off doing anything about my

left knee for several years. After my knee surgery,

the ortho said that we will try them again after I

heal. Just make sure that you immediately ice them to

cut down on the swelling. I always take pain

medication before I go and it helps a lot. I hope you

get some relief from the shots. Iris

Hi Diane,

As soon as you get home from your injection use ice!

Off and on for several hours and you shouldn't have

much swelling. I always take pain meds before I go and

the shots are not too bad. I noticed the difference in

pain and how my knee felt after the first injection

but some folks have to have the whole series before

noticing any difference. Good luck and let us know how

it goes. Iris

P.S. I grew up in Louisiana and it gets cold and even

has snowed a few times over the last 20 years!

I am dealing with lyme/2 co-infections/MS sypmtoms and just started the LDN. I know other lymies and FM people using the LDN.

Would you please email me direct re: the lyme

Thanks

This is my first post. I'm hardly functioning with Lupus, GP, and two tick borne illnesses. First I want to thank Bill for asking if LDN has helped anyone with allergies. I can have three or more bad food allergy reactions in a few weeks time. This recently included one almost full body rash with welts. The allergy reaction sent my immune system down and now I'm fighting a virus. My question is this: I know LDN is used for someone with drinking problems, that it blocks that pleasure response one gets from drinking. I never got that pleasure response from drinking ever so I'm wonder if it is known whether a person like me would have any chance that this med could help them? thanks for telling me about this. Thanks all,Diane

As most can see Diane's immune system is in a motley mess.

Diane,

I think LDN treatment for the Lupus and proper treatment for Lyme would be the

way to go. Diane I think you should start LDN at 1.5mg for 3 weeks and then go

up to 2.0mg for 3 to 4 weeks and then to 2.5mg for 3 weeks and up to 3.0mg and

if your body will tolerate more, slowly work your way up toward 4.5 and if it

won't tolerate 4.5mg drop back to no less than 3.0mg.

I think due to your severe allergies you need the pharmacy to do you the liquid

version of LDN and also that way you can do the measuring any way you want it.

I hope someone here can help you with the Lyme treatment part.
